RALEIGH, N.C. . . . Kerith “Keri” Shimkus joined North State Bank (the “Bank”) as a commercial loan portfolio manager for the West Raleigh office announced Amanda Lloyd, executive vice president and chief people officer. Shimkus supports commercial bankers to serve the needs of business borrowers.
“While Keri is new to the Triangle, she’s a long-time banker with a stellar track record that includes nearly doubling a substantial portfolio,” commented Lloyd. “Her financial analysis and communication skills make her a perfect fit for the Bank and our customers. We’re pleased to welcome her to the team.”
With 14 years in banking, Shimkus joins North State following lending positions at RCB Bank and CornerBank. A Kansas native, she earned a Master in Business Administration from Southwestern College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance from Emporia State University. She was a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and an active member of the Chamber of Commerce in the communities where she worked and lived.
